We stopped in for a late lunch and OMG😲 SO glad we did. Ordered several dishes so we could share and try. Everything was fantastic!!!! The level of spice and flavor explosions - Yum😋 We can't wait to come back and try more dishes. The spot is small so seating limited for sure.
I fell in love with this place and I hope to come back soon. The person at the register was so nice and kind to us and went out of her way to make us feel good and serve us the food we wanted (even though the option was sold out). We ended up getting exactly the meal we wanted (falafel sandwiches) and were both amazed with the food. If you’re ever considering a quick lunch or nice dinner at this restaurant, definitely give The Globe a try and I’m sure you’ll be hooked.
This is a classic Mom-and-Pop restaurant. It is small with limited seats and the wait time can be long. However, the foods really really stood out. I had the butter chicken and it might be the best I have ever had. It was super fragrant and flavorful. The sweetness was there but not overpowering. The rice was very fluffy and not dry at all. I will likely get a take out next time though. Definitely a 10/10 for the food.
Great place for variety of Asian and Indian fusion dishes. We had the curry noodles and curry rice. Both were great. Caution- level 1 spice is hot. Level 2 is no joke. I can’t images level 3-5! Dumplings were fired and tasty. Outdoor seating and small seating inside. Well worth the visit.
Authentic Asian curry filled with aromatic spices. The spices are perfectly blended with a hint of bay leaf or cardamom. The samosas were perfectly crisp on the outside and the potato, peas were nicely blended not overcooked and was so delicious. The Samosas were accompanied by a tamarind dip that added sweetness to the spice profile of the filling. It's a cute cafe with limited seating on the inside and a bistro style set up on the outside. It's a hidden gem right around the corner of State street.
So delicious! A must try. We had seen people post it on TikTok, and despite it's appearances it's such a great find! Such a friendly staff sith great suggestions. Try the elderberry lemonade too!
The food here is one of the best in madison. Great flavours in every dish. Indian/Asian style dishes with great service. Not much space for seating and one bathroom but worth the experiance. Will return in the near future.
Absolutely amazing Asian fusion place near State St I have tried the Indian Tic-Tac Curry, Afghan Korma Curry, and Cajun Jambalaya, and all of them are very delicious! I definitely recommend stopping by and trying them out if you like spice-heavy dishes. They actually make the curry quite spicy here, so be careful with the level of spice you ask. One thing to keep in mind is that the place is quite small, so if you come during busy hours you will likely have to wait to get a seat.
This joint is a blend between tibetan and Korean and Indian and Thai if I were to put it in a box, certainly Asian fusion. Ambience could be better but everything else makes up for it. Flavor, presentation, speed and attentiveness of service. This unpretentious spot is well with the visit and we'll worth the business. If the interior was spruced up a bit and made more high end it'll be a top restaurant in Madison. I recommend the Korean BBQ chicken noodles. Very solid choice. Medium spice.
I’ve been here 10+ times and tried a lot of the menu, every item is delicious. I most recommend the Butter Chicken special when they have it available, otherwise the Afghan Korma is my favorite regular menu item. Staff is also great and friendly. The only issue is that there isn’t a ton of seating, so during busy periods you might have to wait for a few minutes after ordering to have a seat.
